For my final project, I decided to put my set design skills to use. I built a ½ inch scale Tiny Home. It was like building a set but 360, and it was important for the house to look liveable for someone who is three inches tall.

Our assignment was to create a one minute short film, using five-second cuts. My film had to be based on the random phrase of “Do the Washing Up”. Other constraints were that we had to film on our iPads, and we could only use diegetic sound.

Miniature crafts are where I found my love for set design. I have a huge love for these little kits, and it allows me to practice my patience and attention to detail.
